About Sweet Brews

The Name
Sweet Brews covers my two favorite beverages, coffee and beer.  Over the years, I've honed my tastes and paid more attention to the details of both when drinking.  When I realized how much more I prefer dark coffee blends and IPA beers, I began to pursue them more closely.  There are so many delicious options, from international coffees to local microbrews, I decided to chronicle my consumption, learn more about each, and open up conversations to the greater communities of coffee and beer lovers.

The Gimmick
Originally, Sweet Brews would write about coffee in the morning and beer at night, under the heavy influence of either beverage.  In the mornings, I would drink tons of coffee, but they would begin on point, and then quickly start to run together, filled with typos and outlandish claims.  Evening hours would account for the beer coverage, and those posts would begin loose, and quickly turn into complete incoherence, also filled with typos and outlandish claims.  Ultimately, the wordplay alone will have to suffice.  Remember to drink each responsibly.
